What Your Organization’s Colours Say About Your Brand

We’ve always suspected that the colours we choose for logos, stationery, signage, and other identifications has something to do with who we are.

Red evokes visceral response. If you want peoples’ hearts to race, entice them with red.

Purple is sophisticated yet mysterious. Businesses like purple because it evokes feelings of royalty.

Blue is the most popular colour for a brand, because it puts people at ease and reminds them of the ocean and the sky.

Green is synonymous with freshness, and health. Also, identifies one with environmentalist causes.

Brown stands for earthy simplicity, “What can Brown do for you?” But people also associate brown with dirt, maybe too much earthy simplicity.

Nothing says classic sophistication like Black.
