In fact, consumers will change their buying behaviour and switch to companies that support causes they are aligned with. Despite the 13 year old age restrictions on most social media sites, two out of three Aussie Tweens are using some form of social media online.   • Online vs. Offline Retailer Sales Trends in Australia

    Australian sales trends have had their ups and downs over the past year. There has been much speculation over whether online sales are cutting into the traditional, or offline sales, and this report  sheds some light into the differences. 2012 was a year of fluctuations for online retail, with growth peaking near 30% in February then dropping to below 20% in April, before recovering to 25% in July. The last recorded data from NAB’s Online Retail Sales Index, collected in October; growth was steady at 26%.     Perth-based developer Floq has what it calls a “ground breaking” free, online survey app designed for business owners and market researchers.
