Tech Hacks

Office productivity and efficiency can always use a boost. Here are some technological hacks that can help you out:

  • Productivity Software: There are many programs that help track your time spent on your computer so that you can see where your time is spent and make adjustments to improve efficiency.
  • Social Media Killer Software: Applications can turn off social media from your computer and deny you access to certain sites that you program and enter the time frame. If your boss doesn’t already block social media channels from your network, then you can do it for yourself if you feel too distracted.
  • Organization Apps: There are quite a few different organization applications like EverNote and Alfred which both help you sync desk top computing with mobile and have many, many uses to help get your work in order.
  • CloudHQ: This cloud application blends other cloud applications like Drop Box, Google Drive, and Box together and syncs everything to coordinate your information easily.
  • HelloSign for Gmail: This Gmail extension allows you to sign, date, and even attach text to documents while online without having to print, sign, and scan the document.
  • Rapportive:  Gives you a sneak peak of the person you are emailing. It will let you see social media posts and Google profiles so that you can learn something about a contact or connection before reaching out. It helps keep you up to date with friends and acquaintances and makes cold call emailing a little warmer.
