Making Your Trade Show Booth Special for the Holidays

If your company is lucky enough to have a trade show booth at a trade show during the holidays, it is a wonderful time to be able to make your trade show booth stand out with some holiday magic! As with all businesses during the holidays, it is important to keep your holiday trade show display non-denominational so that it can appeal to everyone. Or depending on your business and company culture you can embrace a holiday important to your business or your customers. If you do have specific decorations that represent one holiday, make sure to have something to represent all of the holidays. Plan ahead for your new decorations and make sure that there are not any trade show restrictions and that any necessary outlets and space are set up properly. Here are some tips for decorating your trade show booth for the holidays.

  • Decorate with white lights, they are festive and always call attention to the booth.
  • Add seasonal winter plants to your display like Poinsettias, Holly, and other plants that can represent the season, but not any specific holiday.
  • Have the staff that works in the booth wear different holiday themed clothing.
  • Offer special holiday treats to booth visitors.
  • Hold a contest or prize raffles with presents as the prizes.
  • Play holiday music.
  • Set up a photo booth so that booth guests can have their picture taken. Give the picture in exchange for business cards or contacts.
